Day to day


  • Manage and maintain our regulatory inventory and engage with the relevant compliance owner across the business.
  • Manage and maintain the breach logging process and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of Board reports and compliance packs.
  • Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging regulations and assess their potential impact on Virgin Atlantic.
  • Contribute to inherent risk control design and help align compliance activities with our enterprise risk appetite.
  • Operate across the business to provide consistent compliance advice and oversight, maintaining a focus on practicality and business enablement.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal controls and policies.
  • Assist with incident coordination, investigations, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate on training and awareness initiatives, helping teams understand their compliance responsibilities.


About you


  • 3–5 years’ experience in a compliance, legal, risk, or internal audit environment, ideally with exposure to enterprise-wide frameworks.
  • Experience gained in any industry sector – we’re open to diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of risk principles, control frameworks and breach reporting.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, evolving environments such as SME or build-out settings.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Naturally curious, collaborative, and motivated by continuous improvement.
  • Formal qualifications are not required – what matters most is your mindset and capability.
