KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ensures 100% availability of In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) seats on all flights, monitoring and maintaining functionality to enhance passenger experience and satisfaction.
  • Performs routine maintenance operations on In-flight Entertainment (IFE) systems, including preventive maintenance and alterations, in compliance with regulations from the GCAA.
  • Provides necessary support and imparts essential product information to stakeholders within the organization, facilitating training and aiding in the marketing of IFE products.
  • Conducts troubleshooting and thorough testing of electronic assemblies and units within IFE systems installed on aircraft, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Ensures completion and accurate recording of all maintenance documentation in the AMOS system, in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Maintains open and effective communication with stakeholders, including managers, senior certifiers, and other technical divisions within flydubai, to diagnose and resolve in-service defects and problems promptly.
  • Utilizes maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams and fault isolation manuals effectively to assist with troubleshooting and repairs of IFE systems.
  • Provides comprehensive technical advice on the operation and functionality of IFE systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Attends recurrent training sessions as required to enhance skills and maintain compliance with CAR 145 regulations governing aircraft maintenance.
  • Contributes to ensuring workplace safety, organization, and productivity by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assists in the resolution of any monthly media loading and integration issues, collaborating closely with the IFE content team and vendors.
  • Conducts thorough product testing and aircraft testing to verify that IFE systems function according to industry standards and specifications.
  • Coordinates service requirements with customer experience teams, frontline staff in service delivery, and engineering and maintenance departments to prioritize critical issues efficiently.
  • Stays abreast of the latest technologies and systems available in the market that can positively impact the customer experience of IFE systems.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Recognized and documented aircraft apprenticeship.
  • Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
  • Demonstrated experience in IFE line maintenance.
  • Experience with IFE system maintenance is an advantage.
  • 5 - 7 years
  • GCAA B2 license an advantage but not a necessity.
