Responsibilities


Brand management 


  • Defining Wizz Air’s brand strategy in line with the company vision and mission and translating this into brand guidelines to be applied across the organization, marketing materials, sales and distribution channels and customer journey 
  • Taking initiative and supervising implementation of brand delivery in all the customer touch points from booking, through airport and on board services to post flight customer service 


Marketing 


  • Developing the marketing strategy and budget for existing and new markets on the entire Wizz Air network, ensuring the proper planning for the financial year 
  • Overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns and price promotions developed jointly with revenue management 
  • Responsible for Social Media strategy and execution 
  • Managing all sponsorship events across the Wizz Air network 
  • Managing media agencies across the network 
  • Managing creative agencies across the network 
  • Ensure that local campaigns and promotions are optimized for local markets 
  • Ensure that local partners such as airports and tourism offices are engaged on a continuous basis and that external marketing funding is acquired and utilized 


General 


  • Leading, inspiring and energizing the marketing team 
  • Allocating tasks to marketing managers to create an efficient and effective team 
  • Cooperating on a weekly basis with the rest of the commercial teams to understand market strengths and weaknesses and quickly develop action plans to address them 
  • Controlling all costs associated with marketing and brand development 
  • Developing a world class marketing department 


Experience


  • 5-7+ years of work experience with at least 4 years in marketing and communications, ideally in relation to a customer-focused, fast-paced, high profile and heavily-regulated industry; experience of the aviation industry beneficial but not essential 
  • Minimum 3 years of fully fledged marketing experience in similar roles, with special attention to strategy, brand management and communication 


Hard skills


  • Proficiency in MS Office 
  • Commercial minded. Digitally savy, uses data for decision making and can build a creative platform to communicate Wizz Air’s brand and product in a digital world 

 

Education


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 


Language


  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
