Responsibilities


  • Monitor compliance with procedures to ensure the safety and airworthiness of aircraft, per ORO.GEN.200(a)(6) and Part M 
  • Verify that maintenance and airworthiness standards comply with regulatory and company requirements 
  • Support the Part M M.A.712 Quality System 
  • Present reports, concepts, and developments within Quality and Safety 
  • Resolve issues and non-conformities raised during Authority or external audits 
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and safety performance of external contractors, including sub-contracted activities 
  • Assist with resolving internal non-conformities and manage the company’s exposure to risk 
  • Ensure timely company responses to Authority assessments and directives 
  • Monitor compliance of Part M activities and contracted maintenance according to agreements 
  • Perform maintenance quality audits and assess potential maintenance providers 
  • Monitor legislative changes, safety trends, and risks that impact technical operations, revising quality documentation as needed 
  • Support the development of Wizz Air quality and safety policies and systems 
  • Disseminate relevant quality and safety information to CAMO staff and contractors 
  • Ensure compliance with CAME procedures for airworthiness assurance 
  • Manage follow-ups for corrective actions on audit findings 
  • Prepare Corrective Action Plans for Authority findings in liaison with the HME 
  • Oversee compliance with CAMO personnel authorizations 
  • Issue Non-Accident and Incident Statements 
  • Recommend improvements to the maintenance quality system 
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of Wizz Air’s Safety Management System 
  • Process safety reports related to technical operations and maintenance 
  • Conduct safety investigations and issue recommendations for technical operations 
  • Manage safety projects and risk mitigation for identified safety hazards 
  • Edit and distribute safety and quality bulletins 
  • Perform periodic reviews of CAME for SMS-related content completeness 
  • Provide safety and quality training for maintenance personnel 


Experience


1-3+ years of work experience in a Part M or Part 145 organization is an advantage 


Hard skills


  • Knowledge of ICAO and EASA regulations relevant to continuing airworthiness and safety management is an advantage 
  • Experience with AMOS and/or Intelex is an advantage 
  • Proficiency in PC and MS Office applications 


Education


  • Higher education, preferably in aviation or Safety/Quality/Compliance management 
  • A320 Level III training/license is an advantage 


Language


Fluent English (both written and spoken)
