The role you will play


  • Own end-to-end commercial performance for a set of domestic routes, using data and insight to optimise revenue outcomes
  • Analyse market trends, booking patterns, and customer segments to inform and implement effective revenue management strategies
  • Implement, track, and evaluate revenue management strategies, adjusting based on performance and market signals
  • Provide clear, compelling insights and data storytelling to support commercial decisions and strategic initiatives
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business to turn ideas into action.
  • Apply a test and learn mindset to identify new opportunities and lift performance through continuous improvement
  • Build deep understanding of revenue management systems to execute strategies effectively
  • Monitor competitor activity and recommend responses that protect and grow Air New Zealand’s competitive position


What we’re looking for



  • A tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, engineering, finance, economics, or operations research, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in roles where commercial analysis is a core focus
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Confidence working with and advising senior stakeholders across the business
  • Big picture thinking, with a solid understanding of the economic drivers that influence performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong drive to learn, grow, and develop your career
