About the Role

Are you ready to lead maintenance control operations and ensure fleet airworthiness for one of the world's most ambitious airline startups?

You will oversee daily maintenance control operations, ensuring all aircraft in the fleet remain airworthy, safe, and in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. As the primary point of coordination between Maintenance Control, Line Maintenance, Flight Operations, Engineering, and other operational departments during assigned shifts, you'll make critical decisions that keep our fleet flying.

In this role, you will lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of Maintenance Control staff during your assigned duty period, ensuring timely troubleshooting, defect rectification, and aircraft dispatch to maintain operational schedules. You will monitor aircraft fleet status, MEL/CDL/NEF items, and deferred maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, while making technical decisions related to aircraft dispatch in coordination with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Flight Operations.

You can expect to manage and approve maintenance actions including return-to-service authorizations within company and regulatory limits, provide guidance to Maintenance Controllers on complex technical issues, and ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities in tracking systems. You'll coordinate with planning and materials teams to ensure availability of parts, tools, and manpower, act as the Maintenance Control representative during operational irregularities or AOG events, and maintain compliance with FAA/EASA/GACA and company procedures.

This is a critical role where your leadership and technical expertise will directly enhance fleet reliability, operational continuity, and Riyadh Air's commitment to safety and airworthiness excellence.

About You

Diploma with valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or EASA Part-66 License (Aerospace Engineering degree preferred), you will demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a maintenance control or supervisory role, and hands-on experience with Boeing and Airbus aircraft types.

You are expected to possess strong knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance documentation, with in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements including FAA/EASA Part M/145 and GACA. You will bring excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills under pressure, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and make sound operational decisions in real-time.

We'd love to hear from you even more if you possess experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems such as AMOS, proficiency in Arabic language, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 uninterrupted operations.
