Job Description


POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY


  • Managing functional requirements based on SDLC process in providing continual improvement of the systems based on business requirement and demand, service conformation to the service quality standards.
  • To analyse software, hardware and the wider IT system to fit the business needs. To analyze and oversee all requirement, design and proposed system solution for business needs.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS


  • Accountable to implements all system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.
  • Understanding the overall design of ITD Enterprise Architecture & design and ability to communicate complex ideas to others (business users).
  • Constantly seek improvement for the system requirements according to business needs for the best performance and outcome.
  • Understanding business requirements and transform it into function requirements soution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
  • Coordinates with the data security officer to ensure system requirements is based on policies regarding security of data and information through computer networks. 
  • Working closely with IT Planning, Subject Matter Expert and Business Users to identify the best system solution & design.
  • Analyze requirement, design and proposed system solution for business needs.
  • Acts as an expert consultant for the overall solution including oversee the system design, database design or integration requirement.
  • Provide leadership and vision in proposing and implementing solutions to complex delivery system design and integration problem
  • To maintain all processes, works, documentations, and reporting are adhered to the ISO standards and update relevant documents on all executed changes in a timely manner.
  • To perform other ad-hoc tasks or duties as directed by Superior(s) or Management from time to time 


Key Challenges


  • Managing complex requirements & information systems projects and development.
  • To promote usage and benefits of up-to-date information system such as BI to management across the organization.
  • To assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for development of information system in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • To conduct research and make recommendations on information system products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.

Education


  • Degree preferably with specialization in Computer Science/Information Technology /equivalent
  • (Master degree would be an added advantage)


Relevant Industries 


  • A Degree preferably with specialization in Computer Science/Electronics/IT related discipline. 


Unique Requirement


  • Must be knowledgeable in software Development Life Cycle methodology.
  • Possess good knowledge and experience in business systems operations, development, support, maintenance and projects management.
