You will…


  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and communication of the organization’s data governance framework, including policies, standards, processes, and guidelines
  • Support the overlapping activities with AI governance
  • Support the adoption activity of data governance processes across the organisation
  • Monitor and report on the implementation of data governance initiatives and the effectiveness of controls
  • Assess data risks and work with risk management teams to develop mitigation strategies
  • Assist in audits related to data governance
  • Work with Manager to develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness of data governance policies and best practices
  • Act as a point of contact for data governance-related queries and issues across the organisation
  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into data governance initiatives, data quality metrics, and compliance performance
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other analysts, business stakeholders, Privacy & Legal, and Information Security to facilitate delivery of key data governance outcomes


You’ll be great in this role if you have…


  • An amazing ability to build rapport with stakeholders and influence stakeholders
  • 2+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience working with data governance frameworks, retention & disposal policies
  • Hands on experience with Data Management systems and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI etc) ** Strong SQL skills are required.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, Information Security, Legal, Privacy, compliance, and business stakeholders
  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment (ideally within a large, corporate business)
  • Relevant degree in data management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a equivalent experience (DAMA-DMBOK certification highly regarded)
  • Experience in Airline industry considered highly desirable
