Job Description


People Relations


  • Be the face of HR to the general employee population, providing the necessary HR support to deliver an exceptional employee experience
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on effective employee relations practices, including performance management, disciplinary action, and terminations
  • Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement in HR practices and work with the relevant teams to implement them
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant labor laws and company policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Reinforce the company and HR's strategy and directive into suitable communication to inform, influence, and engage employees toward the objective


Resource Management & Talent Mobility


  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to proactively build a healthy internal and external talent pipeline for critical roles
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team and Hiring Managers to hire-against-budget and drive the recruitment process to deliver a positive candidate experience to hire the best-fit talents for Scoot
  • Partner with the Manpower team to facilitate and support the headcounts required for operations
  • Promote and facilitate internal mobility through internal programs and campaigns


Employee Engagement and Well-being


  • Develop enabling and holistic management processes , programs and recognition culture that strategically integrates employee well-being into its business objectives and contribute to employee optimal health & well being, and reinforces it through leadership support, learning culture, healthy job quality, and people centric HRM practices
  • Facilitate the rollout of the employee engagement surveys and support the execution of programmes and initiatives to improve employee engagement
  • Partner with the Employee Experience team to design and deliver exceptional experiences for employees throughout their journey at the company, from selection and onboarding to exit, by leveraging talent insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Internal communication specialist to ensure clear articulation of all HR policies and EVP for both internal and external stakeholders


Performance Management & Development


  • Harness people analytics and behavioural insights to execute strategies to realise the full potential of the workforce
  • Partner with the Talent Development team to identify gaps and opportunities for employee's learning and development,  and support in the implementation of programmes to create an effective and engaging learning experience
  • Drive a culture of employee recognition to create motivated and high performing teams
  • Custodian of Scoot’s disciplinary and grievance policy and participate or take lead in disciplinary processes where required including engagement with Union


Operational Excellence


  • Be the change maker who possesses a growth mindset and challenges the status quo by simplifying work through innovative solutions and technology
  • Participate in the review and enhancement of HR work processes by leveraging data to inform prioritization and technology to drive efficient and optimal processes
  • Analyse the current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and partner with the Ecosystems and Operational Excellence team to develop and implement the appropriate solutions.


Requirements



  • Degree in Business or Human Resource Management with at least 5 years of direct experience in Business HR environment in a medium to large organization
  • Self-driven and motivated individual with an ability to effective plan and prioritize work
  • Good digital acumen and data savviness with a strong analytical mindset to support data-driven problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills with the confidence to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
  • People-oriented with a strong sense of empathy
