Job Description


POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY


To assist the department in providing an array of administrative and operational functions related to car park management.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS


  • Monitor Car Park Operations activities via CCTV surveillance.
  • Attend to queries from new users pertaining to the PGTS (Parking Gate Ticket System).
  • Assist the Shift Supervisor by informing the AOC, EOC, SOC, AVSEC, NMC, and other related units whenever problems arise.
  • Inform the Shift Supervisor immediately if any field devices malfunction or break down.
  • Monitor and focus CCTV cameras during the end-of-shift process and the refilling (top-up) of Automated Payment Stations (APS).
  • Verify and confirm vehicle records whenever a lost, unreadable, or "back-out" chip coin is reported.
  • Collect parking charge payments via cash or credit card.
  • Gather and collect data for operational improvement programs or work.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of shift reports.
  • Monitor entrance and exit stations for Block B.
  • Conduct regular inspections across all levels of Block A and B, and report to the Shift Supervisor if unauthorized individuals are found loitering.
  • Control traffic at the entrance or exit stations of Block B as required.
  • Immediately block entrance or exit stations if a barrier arm falls off or fails to close.
  • Perform inventory listings for vehicles parked overnight at Block B and pass the data to the Operations Assistant at CCTV for posting.
  • Physically inspect vehicles when a lost, back-out, or unreadable chip coin incident occurs.
  • Provide relief for the Operations Assistant at MPS B and the motorcycle counter whenever needed.
  • Provide relief for the Operations Assistant at MPS C, CCTV, and Car Rental stations whenever needed.

  • Passed good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service oriented with pleasant personality.
  • Good in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Self starter with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skill
  • Computer literate is added advantage


Relevant Industries

 

  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional holders are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Security Services, Hospitality, Retail, or Logistics are preferred.
  • Background in Customer Service, Cashiering, or Property Management (specifically parking or building operations) is an added advantage.
  • Fresh school leavers with a strong sense of responsibility, alertness, and a desire to learn are also highly encouraged to apply.

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia with:


  • Credit in Bahasa Melayu
  • Passed in English
  • Passed in Mathematics
