Key Responsibilities


  • Advise the customer in all activities relevant to Maintenance Data System (MDS) support for platform and application services during LIVE operations.
  • Ensure appropriate tracking of the Maintenance Data System, Engineering Office department (MDS AMTAC) queries:
  • Acknowledge and register queries, escalate to next support level if local answer is not possible, implement solution received and check that incident is properly addressed (resolution or workaround)
  • Ensure appropriate tracking of the queries and answer providing input to a Query Knowledge Database (QKDB) with the events descriptions and correct answers that will be harmonized with the on-site technical services from other Ground Support Device (GSD), to have a broad Ground Support Device (GSD) queries-answer knowledge database.
  • Ensure systems support on-site, by delivering the following services:
  • Support the use of the application by trained Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel
  • Support to administer in the management of databases, access rights and servers
  • Provide coordination and assistance between Airbus Defense and Space (ADS) and Customer for aircraft retrofit activities when deemed necessary.
  • Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be the exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct.
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.


Minimum Requirement


  • Diploma holder with minimum 1 year of working experience in aircraft maintenance system and records or Diploma in any field (Preferably Engineering or IT)
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Malay
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (SAP knowledge is desirable)
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements and workplace agreements
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust
