Build and execute the plan for the daily Part-145 repair activities to meet and exceed customer expectations

 

Precise planning the day-to-day repair of components on behalf of the Skyways Technics Part-145 repair shop in Malaysia is crucial for the on-time delivery of repaired components to our customers and overall service level of our company. We are looking for a diligent and detail oriented professional, to take charge of our Workshop Planner function in Asia, out of our facility in Subang, Malaysia.

 

The role will report directly to the Workshop Manager of Skyways Technics Asia. Position Overview

·         Develop and execute daily plans to meet contracted repair timelines

·         Track processes and procedures in collaboration with operations management and other functions to ensure necessary processes, procedures, and best practices are followed and optimized

·         Monitor material availability, tools and equipment, procurement materials, etc.

·         Manage disruptions in the flow of ongoing repairs

·         Continually streamline the repair plan to ensure cost-effectiveness in both the direct and indirect Part- 145 related costs to the business

·         Follow up on agreed working hours and delivery plans to provide early warning to operations management regarding deviations to the repair plan

·         Coordinate the efforts of all stakeholders in the Part-145 repair chain to execute the repair plan

·         Track on-going activities and report on man-hour utilization, Work-In-Progress, On-Time-Delivery, and Shop Processing Time


Your background

 

You have a minimum of 4-years of proven work experience in component maintenance or aircraft maintenance planning in a Part-145 organization. You have a technical degree in engineering or science related to aerospace or aviation. Have strong analytical and planning skills and are able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both inside and outside the organization.


Additionally, we are looking for someone with the following skills and attributes:

 

·         Ability to develop the know-how in repair shop organization, efficiency, and quality improvement

·         Poses a good knowledge of Part- 145 or Part-21 regulations, especially with regards to technical publications, aircraft maintenance programs, and parts manufacturing

·         Having strong IT systems skills

·         Be orientated towards quality, performance, and problem solving

·         Communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English

·         Be flexible and responsive

·         Strong in prioritization
