BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE (SUMMARY)

Assist the Hoist Supervisor to perform aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance level inspections, services, and repairs to maintain the Rescue Hoist System (RHS) in a safe, and serviceable condition. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualification:

• High School , Completion of a formal RHS training course from an accredited military or civilian school.
• Formal company documented on the job training (OJT) is acceptable.
• Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) applicable to Rescue Hoist preferable.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 Years Must have a minimum of 5 years working with Rescue Hoist Systems.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs equipment inspection, removal and installations, operational checks, functional checks, assembly and disassembly, troubleshooting, and fault rectification on all Rescue Hoist Systems or any other assigned system in accordance with all applicable maintenance manuals and safety directives.
• Requisitions all parts, and maintains shop and bench stock for the repair of RHS and any other assigned system.
• Inspects and prepares all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
• Train host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the RHS and related components.
• Responsible for all tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.

•  Must be able to communicate well with others, instill a teamwork mentality, and lead by example. 

OTHER FACTORS

• Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office and associated programs is desirable.
• Other Requirements: Must be willing to travel or relocate to Forward Operating Bases (FOBs), for short or long rotations, in support of the company’s mission requirements.
• Possesion of a valid driving licence is required to operate customer's motor vehicles.
