BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE (SUMMARY)

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualification:

• 
  
• High School Must have a Federal Aviation Administration Power Plant (P) license or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal turbine engine training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.
• Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) preferable.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 Years Must have a minimum of 5 years working with aircraft engine relevant to aircraft platform and position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Removes, replaces, services, prepares, preserves, cleans and stores engine assembles or components.

2. Disassembles repairs, resembles, adjusts, diagnose tests turbine engine systems, subsystems and components according to applicable manuals and directives.

3. Assists in troubleshooting engines/engine components and rigging engine controls.

4. Uses and performs user maintenance on common and special tools.

5. Requisitions aircraft parts, and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft engine and components.

6. Inspects and prepares forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.

7. Train host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the engines and associated components and sub systems.

8. Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• None.

SUPERVISORY RECEIVED

• Reports to Supervisor Engine Workshops.

COMMUNICATIONS

• Must be able to communicate well with others, in still a teamwork mentality, and lead by example.

OTHER FACTORS

Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office and associated programs is desirable.Other Requirements: Must be willing to travel or relocate to Forward Operating Bases (FOBs), for short or long rotations, in support of the company’s mission requirements. Possession of a valid driving licence is required to operate customer's motor vehicles.
