In this role, the Simulator Technician I will be expected to:


• Perform routine technical tasks on site, in the field, or in a laboratory.

• Receive training in the various phases of laboratory, office, plant, or field technical work.


Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


• Perform preventive maintenance on simulators and associated systems.

• Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving simulator and related system issues. Use the Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record and track maintenance activities.

• Complete all assigned technical training and qualification programs.

• Conduct simulator pre-flight and post-flight inspections.

• Perform basic visual alignments.

• Execute automatic Qualification Test Guides (QTGs) and verify test results.

• Assist with simulator modifications, hardware upgrades, and refurbishment projects.

• Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and requirements.

• Provide timely technical support and customer service.

• Maintain simulator facilities and equipment through housekeeping activities.

• Perform logistics-related duties, including receiving parts, repairs, testing, and validation.

• Support administrative tasks and other activities required by the Technical Services team.


Qualifications:


• 2-year technical degree or 4 years in an electronic, avionic, or technical-related field.

• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.

• Ability to work flexible or rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to interpret system prints, engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, and procedures.

• Proficiency in operating test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and logic analyzers.

• Knowledge of analog and digital theory and a basic understanding of electrical, electronic, computer, and mechanical systems.

• Computer literacy and basic knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, and Microsoft Office.

• Proficiency in soldering and circuit-board repairs.

• Fluency in English and Korean, including sufficient English reading ability for technical manuals, logbooks, and business emails.

• Experience in aircraft or flight simulator maintenance and support.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Completion of mandatory military service or equivalent eligibility.

• Preferred educational backgrounds include aircraft maintenance, avionics, electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, IT/software, or another related engineering discipline.
