Job Profile Summary



  • In this role, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of business processes and assist team lead to define the use cases/user story for applications in Prudential Singapore
  • Ability to develop acceptance criteria to provide assurance for quality of the applications releases
  • As part of this dynamic role, you will report to Lead Business Analyst, and work closely with business units and other IT teams to deliver leading edge digital capabilities for Prudential Singapore


Job Description


  • Ability to carry out process identification, definition and mapping
  • Participate in planning and designing business processes, including formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities
  • Work with the project team to develop, define, and elaborate features and user stories for future releases and sprints
  • Ensure that user stories meet the “definition of ready” (fully elaborated with acceptance criteria, etc.)
  • Maintain an up-to-date backlog of features and user stories for future sprints
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops for visioning, surveys, business process descriptions, user story based product backlog development, use cases modeling and specification, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis
  • Work with users to define concepts and clarify requirements under the direction of project managers
  • Conduct detailed research in order to translate business requirements into precise, high quality user stories or functional specifications that are clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team
  • Identify and validate key business requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and help drive projects across the product design, development and testing
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business strategies and future initiatives to determine future process and solution needs
  • Manage stakeholders, including influencing and persuading, as part of applications delivery and support
  • Analyze business needs to identify new processes or process improvements that will meet those needs
  • Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects
  • Accountable for:
  • Maintain and support the applications in accordance with Service Level Agreement & timelines
  • Deliver in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, including for IT SDLC
  • Lead projects and resolve new/complex problems which may impact the application
