The Repair Product Manager reports to the Commercial Manager APAC and is responsible for promoting and selling Skyways Technics Asia in-house structural repair capabilities in collaboration with the repair sales team. The main focus will be to work hand in hand with the repair capability development team and technical service team to build new in-house repair capabilities. The Repair Product Manager will collaborate closely with the rest of the commercial team to ensure satisfaction with our customers ensuring performance and on time delivery are met.

 

Mission Description:

 

Commercial & Business Support

  • Respond to RFQs by providing tailored commercial proposals in coordination with the sales team.
  • Review and approve repair quotations to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with company strategy before submission to customers.
  • Ensure repair margins meet or exceed company targets; propose corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Support the sales team in negotiating and closing long-term agreements with customers.
  • Continuously identify new repair business opportunities and prepare marketing pitches for sales engagement.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitor repair solutions, pricing, and service levels.
  • Build and present along with sales team the business cases to management for new initiatives, partnerships, or capability developments.

Operational Repair Management

  • Oversee and coordinate repair activities with internal teams (customer support, operations, logistics, and quality) to meet agreed turnaround times (TAT).
  • Monitor and manage parts purchased for repair programs and inventory replenishment.
  • Ensure inventory levels are optimized and sufficient to support repair business requirements.
  • Track service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure delivery standards align with customer expectations and internal KPIs.

Skills & Added Qualifications:

  • With a proven track record in aviation repair sales for a minimum 3 years
  • Background in engineering and technical are a plus
  • Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Has Strong interpersonal skills and a true entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong team player
  • With deep intercultural awareness
