Job Description:


Safety Risk Management


  • Scoot’s risk management methodology, risk management tools by providing guidance to stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, applied and used consistently.
  • Working with stakeholders to administer risk management processes in relation to assessment, evaluation, mitigation, prioritization, monitoring and regular update of risks in Scoot’s operations.
  • Analyse risk root cause and outcomes to identify trends, propose process and procedural changes to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in regular risk reviews to identify, capture and sanction risks, able analyse and recommend appropriate mitigation actions and ensure progress to recovery plans.
  • Centrally control lessons learned data to record results and share outcomes with stakeholders to better inform future identification and assessment of risk.
  • Reporting the progress of Risks at regular intervals to the appropriate level of management and within the customer organization.
  • Carry out quarterly review of department hazard registers to monitor relevancy and accuracy and make recommendations where required.
  • Annual review of HIRM processes for continuous improvement and where applicable, communicate updates to stakeholders accordingly.

  • Administrate reports submitted via the ISMS.
  • Maintain and review SMS Manual and DPM.
  • Hazards Identification
  • Develop and implement Safety Promotion & Communications


Airline Alcohol Management Programme 


  • Conduct testing on tech crew at station and outstation
  • Work with HR to select flights using the randomiser
  • Liaise with AOM's for them to conduct testing at station
  • Develop, plan and execute training for AOM's and any new staff on Scoot's AAMP procedures
  • Maintain tracking system for testing conducted at station and overseas
  • Prepare and send report out to CAAS on a quarterly basis

 

External Audit Representation


  • Conduct Safety quality control activities i.e: audits, assessments and inspections on stations
  • Ensure that safety is represented when auditors from any regulatory organisation is conducting an audit.
  • Ensure documentation and audit prep is done for Safety portions


Requirements:



  • Min 5+ years' experience in operational safety risk management/ safety management systems in aviation fields
  • Ability and willingness to travel
