Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for the acquisition of all aircraft parts and materials, including ordering, releasing from the supplier, shipping, customs clearance, and receiving.
  • Coordinate with Stores and other requestors to procure materials efficiently.
  • Source required aircraft parts by requesting quotations and checking OEM portals.
  • Monitor and replenish On-Site Stock to maintain operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Planning, Technical Services, Stores, and other departments for timely acquisition of aircraft parts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation to prevent obsolescence.
  • Assist the finance team with order invoicing and other requirements to facilitate vendor payments.
  • Oversee all exchange and loan orders, including ordering, shipping, receiving, installation, removal, and returning the core or loaned unit to the vendor.
  • Advise end-users and requestors on order terms and conditions, particularly for exchange and loan orders.
  • Resolve unserviceable item issues and work with the Stores Supervisor to clear pending quarantined items.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and aviation regulations in all procurement and inventory activities.
  • Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and other parties to track and send unserviceable components for repair or warranty claims.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience in aviation materials and supply chain management.
  • Experience in procuring aircraft parts and equipment and creating materials and costing reports.
  • Experience in inventory control and stock management in an aviation environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain procedures and practices.
  • Familiarity with EASA Part M, EASA Part 145, and Kuwait DGCA regulations.
  • Proficiency in interpreting authorized release certificates, shop finding/visit reports, MSDS, and certificates of conformity.
  • Understanding of aircraft parts classifications such as rotable, consumable, and expendable.
  • Proficiency in using airline application-based ERP systems and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
