The aviation sector doesn’t stand still. Challenged to adapt and change, we’ve responded by reinventing our customer experience, broadening our business and achieving what was thought impossible. This allows us to stand strong as the Qantas Group.

As the Manager Change, you will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale change initiatives across our People & Culture portfolio. In this role, you’ll provide end-to-end change management support across complex people programs, ensuring our people are prepared, engaged and set up for success through transformation. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, HRBPs and program teams to drive alignment, stakeholder engagement and adoption. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable operating at a strategic level while also being hands-on - rolling up your sleeves to work in the detail and deliver change outcomes end-to-end.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 8+ years’ experience in change management roles, with a proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs
  • Strong experience leading people change initiatives within HR / People & Culture environments
  • Highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align senior leaders and frontline teams
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, managing delivery end-to-end
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced and highly regulated environments is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, and ability to leverage these to enhance change approaches, communication and adoption
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, Change Management or a related discipline
  • Change management certification (Prosci, APMG or similar) highly regarded
