Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with civil aviation authorities and slot coordinators to obtain regulatory approvals for scheduled and ad-hoc flights.
• Prepare and submit applications for licenses, permits, and traffic rights in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor slot allocation issues and support the Scheduling & Slot Manager in resolving escalations.
• Track changes in air service agreements and regulations, providing updates to relevant departments.
• Assist in securing approvals for special projects like Hajj and Umrah operations.
• Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory bodies, airport authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the airline in regulatory meetings or industry events as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with market entry and operational requirements.
• Maintain organized documentation for all regulatory submissions and correspondences.
• Support the development of internal briefings or training on aviation regulatory matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, Public Relations, Business, Law, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, JD) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Government and Regulatory Affairs, preferably in airline/GACA.
• In depth understanding of commercial regulatory in KSA and in the region.
• Excellent understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of project management and strategy development.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
