High School SONOVISION’s Maintenance Program team supports customers in activities relevant to aviation maintenance planning & execution, maintenance production, optimization, engineering support, and consultation supports with capability to customize niche scope based on customer’s need.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Maintenance Program Engineer, you will hold important responsibility in contributing to customer’s product (aircraft) safety. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform technical assessment of maintenance report/findings from operator or maintenance organization:
- To identify if the report is relevant for the selected maintenance task,
- To categorize valid/relevant maintenance reports base on the applicable rules provided by aircraft manufacturer / OEM,
- To analyze and provide detailed technical evaluation of the maintenance reports base on assessment criteria provided by aircraft manufacturer / OEM.
- Analyze and compile technical justification upon completing technical evaluation of affected maintenance tasks:
- To produce technical justification with the result of the statistical data analysis base on the given policy by aircraft manufacturer / OEM,
- To write technical justification for possible escalation/de-escalation of the maintenanceinterval base on Design Office feedback, in-service experience and Scheduled Maintenance Team feedback,
- To provide recommendation/proposal for new maintenance interval.
- Coordinate, consult and/or working with multi-stakeholder team involving flight ops, scheduled maintenance, design office, operators:
o To obtain required technical and/or operational inputs,
o Timely follow-up open topics for affected technical dossiers,
o Review & update action plans for achieving expected changes.
- Responsible to conduct/attend technical meetings with aircraft manufacturer / OEM (Airbus departments such as Design Office, Safety Assessment team, Scheduled Maintenance Team), Operator, Authority, etc.
- Ensure transfer of in-service experience and maintenance program activities to the management, to other departments for continuous improvement.
- Anticipation studies and industrialization preparation relevant to aircraft structural repair projects and maintenance programs.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skill within engineering scope, with aerospace engineering background.
- Possesses strong knowledge with aircraft maintenance documentations such as (AMM,
- AMP, IPC, SRM etc) and preferably expertise with Airbus fleet.
- Possesses technical knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance planning, procedures and operations.
- Proficient in interpreting aircraft structure drawings and GD&T.
- Understanding of aerospace materials, heat/surface treatments, fasteners, and bonding techniques.
- Ability to work in a team and to be autonomous to complete full task alone.
- Excellent verbal communication & presentation skills.
Qualification : Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Aviation Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience : >3 years of experience in aircraft structure repair or maintenance program.
Work Environment:
- Office setting.
- May be required to travel based on project needs.
