We are currently seeking Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) with more than 5 years’ experience and holding a Cat B licence from CAAM, to join our team. B1 or B2 LAEs with authorization in any the following aircraft types will be preferred:

 

  • A330
  • A350
  • A380
  • B737
  • B747
  • B777
  • B787

 

Conversion Programme

Successful applicants will join SIAEC and undergo a 6-month Conversion Programme comprising:

  • Refresher training at the Training Academy, to prepare for Basic Paper exams required by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to convert to a Cat B CAAS License; and
  • On-job-training to familiarise with the operating environment at SIAEC.

 

Upon successful conversion to a Cat B CAAS License, applicants will be deployed as a LAEs in SIAEC and may look forward to a rewarding career with development opportunities, including aircraft type course(s).

 

Job Description

 

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer in SIAEC, you will lead a maintenance team and be responsible for

successfully carrying out maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with OEM procedures, manual and authority regulations.

 

You will be operating under the SIAEC Part 145 approval to certify airworthiness of aircraft and its

components.
