Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance on aircraft in accordance with approved data.
• Carry out and certify job as called out in task card/IRC issue by Planning Department.
• Raise necessary documents for defect rectification as per approved data.
• Ensure aircraft is maintained with approved tooling and equipment, duly calibrated where applicable.
• Liaise with Workshop for fast turnaround of in-house repair parts.
• Liaise with Engineering Spares on procurement of aircraft spares.
• Consult Technical Services for repair not found in an approved manual.
• Ensure documents are filled up properly and returned to Production Planner after completion of work.
• To complete and submit their respective Daily Zone Status Report to the relevant planner at the end of that working day.
• Provide full support during Aircraft on Ground situation.
• Provide similar services to third party customers as when required.
• Control and ensure parts wastage is at minimal for cost effective maintenance.
• Ensure Technicians work in a safe and healthy environment.
• To order parts for as and when required on the aircraft for MR2 and defect rectification.
• Provide relief for hangar check and line maintenance support when needed.
• Ensure all parts removed from aircraft are appropriately tagged and filled with right information.
• Parts removed from aircraft for troubleshooting purpose has to be informed to PPC Controller and/or DE so that it can be monitored.
• Ensure defects are rectified accurately with reasonable man-hours.
• Ensure a high level of work quality and productivity of each staff.
• To raise a delay report for delays arising on day-today operations.
• Responsible for raising MOR on any arising incident.
• Any other job assigned by EIC, PPC Controller and/or Duty Engineer.

Job Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) or an equivalent recognized authority along with the aircraft's certified type rating specification, A320/321 (V2500) and A320/321 (CFM56).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
• Experience in line and base maintenance operations.
• Candidate is willing to work at Kuala Lumpur International Airport or Penang, Malaysia.
