Employees in our Aircraft Maintenance Team are a critical part of our business and they:

• Carry out maintenance on company aircraft
• Ensure timely and correct completion of all work carried out
• Quality Control for aircraft presentation - upon completion of maintenance and prior to release
• Delivering quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard Ensuring all WHS and Quality policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Comply with Jetstar’s Safety Management System
• Required to work at other ports (including international locations) as required
• Comply with all Jetstar training and compliance requirements
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and outside service providers

If you bring the following qualifications and experience and wish to relocate to Melbourne, Australia, we want to hear from you:

• A CASA or EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 license (ideally minimum 3 years’ certification experience) OR
• Trade qualified in Mechanical, Avionics or Structures, experienced on A320, A321 or B787 (essential requirement)
• Willingness and ability to work nightshift in an ongoing capacity
• Willingness and ability to relocate for a permanent opportunity in Melbourne 
• Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage self and others
• A proven commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders; and
• A valid driving licence and ability to obtain an Airside Drivers licence
