Purpose of the position:

The Junior Fleet Transition Manager (JFTM) is responsible for supporting, controlling and coordinating Wizz Air’s redelivery, delivery and warranty support.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the life cycle management of the fleet including coordination of the lease agreement, redelivery conditions, long term maintenance plan, Engine/APU/LDG/Thrust reverser shop visit plan;
  • Provide support during lease agreement negotiations;
  • Plan and coordinate the lease return process between Wizz Air, lessor and other stakeholders ;
  • Coordinate redelivery activities within Technical Services aligned with the Company and the Local Authority requirements;
  • Support lease return program including long term Redelivery plan optimization;
  • Support to establish standards, processes and procedures to be used during EOL;
  • Coordinate the budget for the EOL program and events;
  • Promote good and clear communication between all teams, lessors involved in the End of Lease;
  • Ensure that services, material and resources are planned and procured on time;
  • Analyse each EOL event process, collect data and information to support proactive correction of deficiencies and prevent reoccurrence;
  • Participation in Invoice checking and cost control of redeliveries by collecting financial data and information from vendors and contractors;
  • Managing and controlling the aircraft warranty claim including the concession during the aircraft production;
  • Monitoring defects eligible for possible warranty claim;
  • Follow applicable requirements of Safety Management System;
  • Other tasks stipulated by the Senior Fleet Transition Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or other areas required; Master degree is an advantage;
  • Fluent English knowledge (both oral and written);
  • 2 years’ of relevant work experience in aircraft technical, leasing, financing or maintenance
  • Thorough negotiation and project management skills
  • Knowledge of EASA OPS, Part M, Part 145 and relevant parts of Part 21 regulation desired;
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods and CAME;
  • Good knowledge of AMOS and MS Office tools.
