We’re Now Welcoming Expressions of Interest

We’re inviting expressions of interest for A320/1 Direct Entry First Officer positions as we plan for future growth. Opportunities may be available across both New Zealand bases, subject to operational requirements. To be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Hold an Australian ATPL (A) or an Australian CPL (A) with passes in all Australian or New Zealand ATPL subjects
• Australian Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D and 3D endorsements
• Current CASA Class 1 medical
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6
• Minimum 500 hours flight time in fixed wing aircraft; and at least one of the following minimum requirements:
• 200 hours in command of a multi engine aircraft (excluding PICUS); or
• 200 hours in command of a turbine powered fixed wing aircraft; or
• 200 hours on aircraft certified for operation by a crew of two pilots (multi-crew aircraft)
• Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training certificate or equivalent
• A current passport with unrestricted access to all Jetstar ports of call with at least 12 months validity
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
• The ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and/or AVSEC
• Hold relevant Australian permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Australia
