What you’ll be doing

As our HR and Payroll Platform Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our People systems are stable, well-governed and continuously improving to support business outcomes.

Reporting to the HR & Payroll Platform Owner, you’ll act as a trusted subject matter expert across HR and Payroll platforms, partnering closely with People teams, Technology and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.


In this role, you will:

  • Act as the system specialist across HR and Payroll platforms, including Oracle HCM and ADP Payroll
  • Partner with HR and Payroll stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective system solutions
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR and Payroll systems
  • Investigate and resolve complex system issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
  • Own and deliver smaller enhancement initiatives end-to-end, from requirements through to delivery
  • Support larger transformation initiatives by providing subject matter expertise and ensuring alignment to business processes
  • Manage relationships with vendors and outsourced support partners to ensure service quality and delivery
  • Contribute to governance activities including access management, controls, audit readiness and compliance
  • Support release cycles, upgrades and change management aligned to payroll and business timelines
  • Drive improved reporting, platform visibility and operational performance


You’ll play a critical role in bridging business and technology, ensuring HR and Payroll platforms support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic objectives.


You’ll be great in this role if you have…

  • Experience supporting HR and/or Payroll systems within a complex organisation
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud and/or ADP Payroll or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and how they translate into system solutions
  • Proven ability to analyse business problems and translate them into requirements and system outcomes
  • Experience working with vendors or outsourced support partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues through to resolution
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and non-technical teams
  • Good understanding of governance, compliance and system lifecycle processes


Desirable:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Information Systems or related discipline
  • Oracle HCM certifications
  • Experience in large or regulated environments
  • Exposure to integrations and broader enterprise systems
  • Airline or travel industry experience
