Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the HR department to ensure the effective delivery of HR services.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Lead employee relations and industrial relations activities for the site providing guidance and resolution to workplace issues.
  • Maintain legal compliance, mitigate risks, and ensure a safe, inclusive workplace.
  • Lead and manage grievance and disciplinary processes, in a timely, fair, and legally compliant manner, conducting thorough workplace investigations as appropriate.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to line management and supervisors on performance management processes, including coaching, counselling, and career development.
  • Implement, update, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures and their interpretation. 
  • Manage and coordinate the company payroll and oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed management reports to senior leadership, providing insights into key HR metrics and trends. Prepare Gender Pay Gap report.
  • Develop and implement programs aimed at improving employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Facilitate internal employee communications.
  • Facilitate and support the employee communications and engagement team to enhance workplace involvement and collaboration.
  • Lead and manage the company’s PRSA Scheme and the pension auto-enrolment process, ensuring timely enrolment, employee communication, and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with other HR Teams within PAM and the parent company to ensure alignment on recruitment, HR initiatives, contracts, and compliance.
  • Oversee the company canteen, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets the needs of employees, while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Promote company training programs, apprenticeships, and initiatives to attract and develop talent. Actively advocate for careers in the aviation industry, building awareness and engagement through internal and external outreach efforts.
  • Provide support for ad hoc HR projects and initiatives as required.


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
  • 4-5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry is highly desirable.
  • Must have previous experience of managing end to end HR processes, such as the recruitment process, disciplinary process etc
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and understanding of HR best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in a pressurised and fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the importance of process and procedures.
  • IT Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Smartsheets etc)
  • Successful candidate is required to obtain a clean Garda Criminal Record check to work at the airport.
