Key Responsibilities

• Significant manual handling of freight including loading and unloading of aircraft.

• Operating forklifts, tugs, and heavy machinery.

• Operating computer systems and scanners.

• Lodging freight documents into the warehouse system (iCargo).

• Working with supervisors and managers to expand knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• A current and valid provisional or full state or territory driver’s license.

• A current and valid forklift license or willing to obtain at your own expense.

• Ability to repetitively lift items up to 32 kgs in weight.

• Ability to work all shifts in a dynamic 24-hour, 7 day a week, rotational shift roster.

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical.

• Previous experience using a forklift in a warehouse environment is preferred.

• Recent experience in a manual handling or physical role, within a fast-paced operational environment preferred.

• A passion for safety and working within Work Health & Safety guidelines.

• Ability to work effectively within a team.

• A hard-working nature and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

• Displays care and responsibility for customers’ freight.
