What you’ll be doing:


  • As a Fleet Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, cost-effective, and efficient operation of the easyJet fleet.
  • This includes collaborating with Fleet Engineers across Airframe, Avionics, Cabin Systems, Maintenance Programs, and Reliability, and coordinating with system and equipment manufacturers to maintain airworthiness and maximise aircraft availability and system reliability.
  • You will manage responsibilities under EASA Part M / Part CAMO, oversee the Safety Management System through investigation and closure of occurrence reports and audit findings, and apply a structured approach to resolving technical issues related to aircraft components.
  • Key duties include analysing component performance and reliability, setting up and managing manufacturers' part numbers and life-limited components in AMOS, and managing aircraft configuration trees.
  • Additionally, you will support both internal and external audits, represent easyJet in maintenance working groups, manage fleet transition and end-of-lease queries, and oversee component engineering meetings.
  • You’ll also manage technical assistance requests and be ready to assist with additional tasks as required by the Senior Fleet Engineering Manager or Team Leader.


What you’ll need to do the role:


  • The ideal candidate will hold a recognised degree in an Aircraft/Aerospace Engineering discipline or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence and possess knowledge of EASA Part M / Part CAMO functions, as well as airworthiness regulations and legislation.
  • You should have experience working in a Part M / CAMO office environment, ideally with experience in Component Maintenance.
  • AMOS user knowledge is preferable, along with extensive experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Location & Hours of Work:


  • This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
