Overview

The team develops and maintains systems that enable efficiency, scalability, and innovations to ensure technology effectively supports both operational and commercial needs. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Embed data governance and privacy-by-design into Enterprise Architecture, defining data pipeline operations, technical and business requirements, and ensuring privacy and security compliance from the design phase.
  • Develop core reporting systems, prioritize analytics requests, centralize core metrics definitions, and establish a scalable data governance framework.
  • Lead a centralized analytics team supporting Finance, Sales, Client Services, and Operations, delivering actionable insights to improve business performance, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Improve operational efficiency through data-driven strategies for on-time performance, aircraft utilization, and crew scheduling.
  • Own data visualization and automation tools.
  • Implement predictive analytics and machine learning models to enhance operations and strategic planning.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage analysts.
  • Telecommuting/Work From Home within the U.S. is acceptable.
  • Travel: Bi-weekly travel to Fort Lauderdale, FL, for one day, bi-annual to Columbus, Ohio, and annual to London, UK.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Master's degree in Analytics, Business Analytics, or Statistics, and 5 years’ experience as analytics manager, business analyst, data analyst, or similar position.
  • Expertise in developing and managing core reporting systems, data governance frameworks, and centralized metric definitions.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Snowflake, SQL, APIs, data integrations, and Tableau.
  • Expertise in Data platform architectures for complex transactional and analytical systems.
  • Experience with leading data-driven projects, managing analytics teams, and prioritizing business decisions by leveraging insights and data tools.
  • Experience with hiring, mentoring, and managing analytics teams.
  • Experience with customer analytics in a commercial context, including customer segmentation, retention modeling, and revenue tracking.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration across Data Engineering, Analytics/Data Science, and stakeholders (including C-suite) in Finance, Sales, Client Services, and Operations.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and enterprise data management.
  • Experience with modernizing reporting infrastructure and integrating data across multiple business systems or entities.
