Accountabilities


  • Participate in defining sales strategy and objectives to ensure alignment with overall Etihad objectives and external trends in conjunction with the General Manager. Develop, implement and manage the local sales channel strategy with guidance from the Business Development Unit in order to ensure the maximization of Etihad reach and revenue and profitability possibilities.
  • Partner with Sales Strategy and Planning to develop, monitor and report on sales plans to ensure sales strategy is properly implemented across the markets and that all available tools, data and insight are being effectively used to ensure expected results are reached. 
  • Act as chief coach for your team, working with global sales enablement to ensure you have a data led, insight driven and innovative sales team. Motivate, coach and lead the commercial team to exceed targets. Measured by Revenue targets shared and exceeded by sales staff and Training plan agreement.
  • Working with the regional business development unit, define territory/channel sales targets to ensure consistent contribution to overall Etihad results.
  • Manage and coordinate dealing with partners to ensure achievement of agreed targets and respect of terms and conditions
  • Develop and implement sales & marketing initiatives to ensure key revenue targets are met within budget
  • Monitor sales KPIs and dashboards (based on revenue and cost of sale targets) to identify areas of improvement, new initiatives and propose corrective actions
  • Develop close working relationships with local and international partners to identify joint marketing activities and strategies to boost sales
  • Act as a sounding board and business partner to create and update current policies and stakeholder contracts ensuring compliance with the Etihad’s processes, policies, tools and the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the travel trade, corporate, guests, governments, ministries, etc. as relevant to your area of responsibility.

Education & Experience

 

•    Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or relevant Commercial & analytical work experience

•    5 years airline experience required

•    Right to work and live in Indonesia

•    Must be a Bahasa speaker
