Role Introduction

At Cathay, we are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our office-based team as a Cabin Crew Base Executive.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing our Cabin Crew Base performance, roster preparation, scheduling, pre-flight planning and personnel administration while ensuring clear communication and engagement with our Cabin Crew community and all other related departments. Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management and Communication

• Take a proactive role in strengthening the bonds between cabin crew and managementHelp to build and maintain strong working relationships with the base cabin crew community and office teamsBe a source of support and guidance for local cabin crew to enable them to adapt to the changing business and operational environment

Performance Management

• Help to enhance the performance standard of cabin crew through positive reinforcement and recognition in order to drive a high performing cultureProvide regular feedback, counselling and support to cabin crew for the setting of goals and developmental plansConduct first stage investigations for passenger complaints, punctuality, uniform and grooming infractions and grievances and disciplinary meetings with the ManagerMonitor cabin crew performance records, provide coaching as necessary to ensure communication of high/low score

Administration and Workforce Planning

• Ensure the integrity of Cathay Pacific cabin safety and security policies and procedures are maintained at all timesMonitor the day to day operation and oversee general base office administrationInteract with crew, issue notices via email or bulletin board with regards to inflight services, crew administration and base specific information

Requirements

• Educated to tertiary level with completion of a recognised Human Resource qualification3-5 years relevant work experience in a Cabin Crew and/or Operational environmentKnowledge of the Cabin Crew community as well as Aviation Safety and Service standardsComputer literate with the ability to use MS Office. Word, Excel and PowerPointA committed and effective team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills with the aptitude to solve problems and provide solutionsA highly flexible individual who can meet the operational needs of the role and function A full job description is available upon request.
