Job Description:


With demonstrated leadership experience and possessing a deep knowledge of both the working technical function and the associated business ones, the Business Relationship Manager will ensure effective business

relationship management with strategic business partners/stakeholders outside of Digital and IM (Information Management).

 

The job holder proactively serves as a “trusted advisor” and acts as a connector & translator to facilitate relationships. They will collaborate and support the PSL/Domain leaders ensuring the strategy and operations are well aligned with business needs. They will support projects within their given scopes and support their co-located IM team members as Proximity Manager. Facilitates and collaborates with domains to ensure business/end- users expectations and needs are met.

The Business Relationship Manager will act on Malaysia and also supporting smaller entities like Thailand and Vietnam.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensures and secures strategic vision alignment between Digital and IM and Airbus
  • Represents Digital and IM and promotes its vision, value, services, and capabilities
  • Establish and nurture close and productive relationships with Peers and Business leaders to create a well balanced, transparent, prioritized backlog of both transformational and business continuity objectives
  • Handles and facilitates escalations
  • Report and communicate on Digital and IMs performance to the business
  • Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be the exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the superior


Acts as Proximity Manager for co-located team members


  • Support the transnational manager to ensure local accountability
  • Local focal point for any local issues for employees with remote manager
  • Provide feedback to trans-national manager on local engagement, behaviours & motivation
  • Support transnational manager to ensure output is aligned with expectations
  • Ensure wellbeing of staff
  • Ensure the cascading of information
  • Ease the coordination of local HR processes
  • Act as coach/mentor and support career development
  • Be informed of staff whereabouts (leave, holidays, smart working etc.)

Acts as Lead for SRM of Thailand / Vietnam.


  • Support and coach the Thailand / Vietnam SRM in his activities of local BRM (support strategic vision, budget management, OP and portfolio management
  • Channel the escalation / strategic / operational topics to Leadership team
  • When no SRM exists locally, will act as Interim
