Job Description

Identify new business opportunities and lead the development of sales initiatives, to ensure consistent growth and to meet overall Company sales and revenue targets.


Accountabilities

  • Conduct business development initiatives to expand the businesses and sources of income
  • Plan, propose and implement strategic and tactical agreements to strengthen and expand the business
  • Research, gather and analyse data on products and competitors in the market and guide market research plans to define the best approach to increase Company market quota and visibility
  • Represent the company within the defined region to ensure the commercial success
  • Act as local point of contact for internal stakeholders and Head Office Management to ensure proper management and reporting of dealings, administrative activities and revenue generating opportunities
  • Analyse, measure and report on performance of all marketing and sales promotion initiatives to improve selling approach
  • Participate in defining sales strategy and objectives to ensure alignment with overall Company objectives and external trends
  • Develop and monitor sales plans to ensure sales strategy is properly implemented across the markets and expected results are reached within budget
  • Define area sales targets and possible channels to be used to ensure consistent contribution to overall Company results
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with third parties (e.g. travel agencies, corporate customers governmental authorities) to ensure effective brand positioning among strategic clients
  • Develop, manage and stipulate a portfolio of contracts by counselling district sales representatives to ensure that Company market positioning is improved and compliant with overall commercial strategy
  • Liaise with local governmental authorities to ensure compliance with all local regulations and policies
  • Engage with Company partners to conduct joint negotiations with clients or intermediaries to optimize company visibility and to exploit new commercial channels and possibilities
  • Develop, implement and manage the local sales channel strategy according to Company guidelines in order to ensure the maximization of company reach and revenues possibilities
  • Monitor sales KPIs and dashboards to identify areas of improvement, new initiatives and propose corrective actions


Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience within relevant field
