Primary Responsibilities:

  • Studies and analyzes all pertinent correspondences, manuals and publications periodically issued by the Aircraft, and component manufacturers for possible inclusion in the company’s Aircraft Operations Specifications
  • Studies, analyzes and issues instruction on optional, recommended and mandatory inspection and modifications issued by State of Design, CAAP and component manufacturers to meet implementation target.
  • Evaluates and issues recommendation on all Vendors’ Technical Specifications proposal for Aircraft and Avionics Equipment.
  • Coordinates with the Aircraft and Avionics manufacturers all observed malfunctions that are not in the approved manual references.
  • Evaluates, coordinates, recommends, designs and approves aircraft improvements such as modifications and part upgrade for aircraft systems and components as required.
  • Forwards annual and unscheduled (non-incident/accident related) DFDR and CVR data directly to a contracted service provider based from the allotted due date.
  • Periodically reviews component fleet reliability to determine optimum protection level and provides recommended spare level to ensure continuous and undisrupted operation.
  • To actively participate in CEB SMS by ensuring highest reasonable level of safety performance is achieved by complying with applicable safety and security laws, regulations and standards and by reporting all accidents, incidents and hazards. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any aviation-related four-year course
  • Minimum of two years experience as an Avionics Engineer
  • PRC Engineering license is preferred
