Key responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to enhance the airline's position in the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, partners, corporates, tourism authority, and travel industry arena.
  • Collaborate with travel agents (online and offline) and distribution partners to expand, manage and optimize sales channels.
  • Provide actionable market insights and competitors analysis to inform strategic decision and identify growth opportunities.
  • Propose and implement effective sales initiatives and promotional campaigns to meet revenue objectives. 
  • Liaison with Head Office to resolve agent queries, booking issues and operational challenges efficiently.
  • Identify and recommend strategic trade partnership and promotional opportunities to boost sales.
  • Engage travel agencies and corporate clients to promote Scoot's MICE offerings in China. 
  • Monitor agency performances across channels and develop strategies to enhance collaboration and sales outcomes. 
  • Utilise analytics tools to craft robust cost-effective business plans to maximize revenue and optimize distribution efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other Commercial departments in the company to achieve the company’s strategic and commercial objectives.


Requirements:



  • Degree, with relevant Sales/Commercial experience in Aviation.
  • Experience in working as a team and proven track record of successful sales in a regional-level portfolio.
  • Analytical and articulate, able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information.
  • Aviation enthusiast and passionate about what the company stands for.
  • Self-starter, hands-on and strong team player, able to inspire others positively
  • To be based in China and willing to travel within China and to HQ in Singapore.
  • Sound commercial acumen to pursue sales opportunities, backed by strong analytical and operational skills 
  • Strong people skills to manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
