Role Introduction

Reports to: Insurance Partnerships Manager

Drive the growth of Cathay’s insurance pillar by developing strategic partnerships that strengthen our travel lifestyle offering. You will shape proposals, negotiate terms, and manage relationships that enable our customers to access relevant, high‑quality insurance products. Your work directly enhances a key revenue stream within Customer Relationship and Retail.

Day to day, you oversee the operational heartbeat of our insurance partnerships — coordinating product rollouts, supporting sales activities, ensuring campaigns land smoothly, and monitoring performance to deliver commercial outcomes. Working closely with Marketing, you help form propositions and campaigns that engage customers and meet business targets.

Success in this role comes from collaborating confidently with teams across IT, Legal and Marketing to deliver milestones, maintain compliance with governance and regulatory requirements, and keep processes running robustly. You bring structure, commercial insight and problem‑solving ability to a space that continues to evolve, contributing to experiences that move our customers forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with insurance partners, supporting partnership development & management activities including business proposals, campaigns T&C, contract management, and partnership negotiations etc.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations related to insurance partnerships and product sales activities to ensure smooth execution and performance delivery.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to formulate marketing campaigns and propositions to drive business growth and achieve targets.
  • Support the formulation and execution of the overall strategy for the insurance pillar.
  • Work closely with internal teams (IT, Legal, Marketing etc.) to deliver project milestones and business outcomes effectively.
  • Ensure all operational processes comply with internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends  

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience in Insurance, Partnerships, Marketing or Operations etc
  • Solid experience in partnership management, sales operations, or marketing within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • IIQE qualification and prior insurance industry experience are advantageous.
  • Proactive and commercially minded team player with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese.
