Key Responsibilities:

 

Maintenance Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and oversee maintenance activities to ensure that specialized systems such as the Baggage Handling System (BHS), Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) system, and X-ray machines are maintained to meet regulatory requirements and operational standards.
  • Lead efforts in digitizing maintenance data for enhanced asset performance tracking and analysis.

 

Innovation and Sustainability:

  • Support engineering sustainability and innovation initiatives, such as robotic grass cutting, drones for inspection, asset management and inspection using computer vision.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, collaborate with external vendors, analyse trial data, and present findings to management for decision-making.

 

Contract Management:

  • Serve as the primary documentation and contract officer for all maintenance contracts including managing multiple ongoing contracts for specialized systems.
  • Review contract documents, provide expert advice on contractual issues, draft new clauses when necessary, and act as the liaison with Seletar’s Procurement and Legal teams.
  • Formulate and execute contract management strategies for maintenance and project works, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.

 

Procurement Support:

  • Assist and guide the team in procurement activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Independently review the contract procurement process, including tender procedures, to ensure compliance and best practices.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders and airport partners to manage work processes, minimizing disruption to airport operations while ensuring optimal asset performance.
  • Drive improvements and innovations in maintenance processes, striving for higher productivity and quality with minimal operational impact.

 

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in preparing tenders for building, civil, infrastructure, and maintenance projects.
  • Good understanding of contract law, legal requirements, and Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to participate in night work as needed.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a strong team player.
  • Proficiency in Office 365.
