Reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager, some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

• Carry out maintenance on company aircraft
• Ensure timely and correct completion of all work carried out
• Quality Control for aircraft presentation - upon completion of maintenance and prior to release
• Delivering quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard Ensuring all WHS and Quality policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Comply with Jetstar’s Safety Management System
• Required to work at other ports (including international locations) as required
• Comply with all Jetstar training and compliance requirements
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and outside service providers

We’re on the hunt for someone who:

• Has completed a Certificate IV in Aeroskills, with previous A320/321 experience desirable
• Demonstrates excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage self and others
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Has previous experience in Base Maintenance
• Has a proven commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
• Has proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders; and
• Hold's a valid driving licence and ability to obtain an Airside Drivers Licence
