Our Base Maintenance team is expanding, and we have multiple opportunities to work within our Aircraft Maintenance Engineering team.  

As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams within Brisbane in a hangar environment, enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

You’ll have –

• Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Avionics)
• Relevant Aircraft Maintenance Avionics trade experience
• Extensive servicing experience on A320, A330 and B737 aircraft in a base maintenance environment (advantageous)
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Qantas Maintenance procedures (advantageous)
• Commitment to all safe working practices and service standards
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to being customer focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Demonstrated high ethical/behaviour standards and self-discipline
• Ability to work rotating shift rosters
